Recycle!

@ppc: It looks like you're having trouble stabilising two out of three times. Better luck this time!

@all: This should be the last stabilisation round for a while.

USE flags shouldn't help anyway. Better try different FEATURES flags. -sandbox -userpriv -usersandbox should be a good starting point.

That's OK to fail. Should probably have returned "not implemented" instead.
Do you have CONFIG_RAW_DRIVER set in your kernel?

Right, so you don't have IPv6 access? :)

Most tests don't actually fail when a protocol isn't implemented. It's not an issue in socat but in the test suite then. Or it could be that you have it implemented but not configured.

So you don't have CONFIG_TUN? Or could it be the sandbox is both not allowing access and not reporting that either?
Comment 8 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-10 07:55:52 UTC
Stable for HPPA.
Comment 9 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-11 15:29:15 UTC
The same failures occur with disabled sandbox. I have CONFIG_TUN activated and some programs are using it.

We could investigate all that in another bug report. I think these test failures shouldn't halt stabilisation.
