Description Harris Landgarten 2009-05-19 14:05:26 UTC
In file included from tangleboot.c:94
tangleboot.h:34 error: conflicting types for 'getline'

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Sebastian Luther (few) 2009-05-19 14:36:31 UTC
emerge --info and the build.log please.
Comment 2 Harris Landgarten 2009-05-19 14:43:50 UTC
I am running paludis -i everything --dl-reinstall all

after the glibc update and reporting all the failures. All found so far have been getline redefinitions as the new stdio.h defines it. All of dev-tex should be checked. We might need a tracking bug.

I can't provide anything from the machine running the installs because it is very busy installing packages (700 or 1306) at the moment

I have the same problem.

google getline conflict and you will see the issue. GLIBC-2.10 defines getline
in stdio.h per the posix::2008 spec. Now any package the defines its own
getline will not compile. On my workstation so far I have found tex, cdrtools
and unifdef broken. unifdef was the biggest problem.

Rename getline() to _getline()

Patch bumped from version 2007 from Fedora CVS.
