I'm CCing the PHP herd on this in case they want to pick it up, but assigning it to maintainer-wanted so that if some other dev wants to look after it, they can.

You might also be interested in getting involved in the sunrise project and looking after the ebuild yourself in there [1].

This fails to build with modern PHPs (5.6 and greater).

I don't think we can support old software that fails to build.

Closing as WONTFIX unless someone really needs it and wants to work on it.
