One more reason to bump: This release should be compatible with octave-3.*, so that octave-forge can be used with gcc-4.3 again.

Version R2009-06-07 is out.

Currently, I'm trying to use octave-forge from the science overlay with Octave 3.2.0. (BTW: these ebuilds are compatible with octave 3.0.x already) But it won't even compile. This version bump is urgent, even if you only do it in the science overlay.

I've started to bump the ebuilds in the overlay.
It'll take some time since there are many of them but
they should all start appearing over the next few
days or so.

Best,
Markus

They should all be up to date now.
