A quick google gives following: http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/index.php?topic=3093549.0 but it seems like a hack. So, run python and paste here the result of 'from qt import *'
If nothing gets printed, change that block to simply from qt import * hasqt = 1 (just don't mess up the intentation) maybe then a proper exception lands in the log.

But i'm going in offtopic because this isn't a gentoo bug or plasma bug but only lwp right?
