Actually, the summary says everything. Firefox installs with /usr/share/pixmaps/firefox-icon.png and /usr/share/pixmaps/firefox-icon-unbranded.png but no /usr/share/pixmaps/firefox.png. That makes it not display any taskbar icon when you run it using "firefox" command. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: I installed Firefox on KDE:3.5 box. Actual Results: The taskbar icon doesn't show. Expected Results: It should. /usr/share/pixmaps/firefox.png should point to either of the icon files installed.
Please post your "emerge --info" as well as the output of emerge -qpv mozilla-firefox and if possible attach a screenshot showing the exact problem as I'm unable to reproduce it on my ~amd64 machine with kde:3.5 being installed.

This file is identical to mine and I can see the firefox icon in kde-3.5.10's taskbar. Please attach a screenshot of your problem and reopen this bug then.

Same here. I attached the screenshot. This is a clean install keeping the make.conf from the old. In the old instalation this did not happen. I might add that most icons doesn't show. The back/forward and stop button - for example - are just "missing icon"-icons. Same thing in menus; some icons show, some don't. Folder-icons doesn't show. There seems to be something really broken about this and I can't figure out why, and what triggered it. Rather annoying.
