Description T Chan 2009-04-07 11:58:58 UTC
sudo consistently segfaults when /etc/sudoers is not mode 0400 (a slightly dubious mode, but oh well).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login as root
2. chmod 0644 /etc/sudoers
3. sudo

Actual Results:
# sudo
sudo: /etc/sudoers is mode 0644, should be 0440
Segmentation fault

Expected Results:
# ./sudo
sudo: /etc/sudoers is mode 0644, should be 0440
sudo: no valid sudoers sources found, quitting

Can you please confirm this with 1.7.1_rc1? It doesn't seem to segfault, and it's now in ~arch.

Works for me.
