That's because the configure scripts for sub-libraries used within the audacity source structure don't take the same arguments as the top level configure script. Short of adding loads of dummy arguments to each sub-configure script there is no way to suppress this warning from Autoconf, so there is nothing practical that can be done. I'd favour altering portage to ignore this particular warning, but that probably isn't easy.
1.3.8 has it too. Should those configure scripts then be called without the offending options?
Closing as wontfix. See comment #1 for an explanation. If someone wants to provide a decent patch to fix the issue then please feel free to reopen the bug.
never mind, 1.3.12 just works. So maybe that needs to be stabled...?

Hi, I'm not reopening this bug as I'm not able to provide a patch to strip the unnecesary arguments when the 'configure' script in lib-src/lib-widget-extra/ is called, altough consider adding QA_CONFIGURE_OPTIONS to the ebuild, as a ((lets hope just) temporary) workaround. As Richard Ash said: "there is nothing practical that can be done" - so I hope you'll agree to simply ignore these QA notices so no further bugs would be submitted against this. >QA_CONFIGURE_OPTIONS=".*"
