Description Matěj Laitl 2009-03-20 19:37:31 UTC
Hi,
I've got following error when I trying to start korganizer-4.2.1-r1 with libical-0.33-r1:
korganizer
korganizer(3336): ""LastLoad" - conversion of "-4713,1,1,0,0,0" to QDateTime failed"
korganizer(3336): ""LastSave" - conversion of "-4713,1,1,0,0,0" to QDateTime failed"
icalerror.c:104: BADARG: Bad argument to function
korganizer: icalerror.c:106: icalerror_set_errno: Assert „0“ failed.
<unknown program name>(3335)/: Communication problem with "korganizer" , it probably crashed.
Error message was: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" : " "Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)" "

KCrash: Application 'korganizer' crashing...
sock_file=/home/strohel/.kde4.2/socket-esprimo/kdeinit4__0

When I upgrade to dev-libs/libical-0.43 (which is in ~arch), the problem goes away and korganizer works as expected.

Thus I guess korganizer deps should be adjusted to require newer libical.

Regards,
         Matěj

kdepimlibs-4.3.1 in tree requires >=0.42 now, thanks for reporting.
