Tested 4.3.3, still fails.
Comment 6 Andreas K. Hüttel gentoo-dev 2010-04-20 20:59:53 UTC
And 4.4.2?
Comment 7 Andreas K. Hüttel gentoo-dev 2010-05-01 17:28:58 UTC
Tests are restricted now.

(If I re-enable them they still fail though.

Comment 8 Andreas K. Hüttel gentoo-dev 2010-06-13 18:05:50 UTC
The tests are just plain broken, calling the programs to be tested with improper arguments. Not much to do here.

Example:

3/4 Testing: isotopeparsertest
3/4 Test: isotopeparsertest
Command: "/var/tmp/portage/kde-base/libkdeedu-4.4.4/work/libkdeedu-4.4.4_build/libkdeedu/libscience/tests/isotopeparsertest.shell"
Directory: /var/tmp/portage/kde-base/libkdeedu-4.4.4/work/libkdeedu-4.4.4_build/libkdeedu/libscience/tests
"isotopeparsertest" start time: Jun 13 20:01 CEST
Output:
----------------------------------------------------------
Usage: isotopes <XML_FILE>
<end of output>
Test time = 0.01 sec
----------------------------------------------------------
Test Failed.
"isotopeparsertest" end time: Jun 13 20:01 CEST
"isotopeparsertest" time elapsed: 00:00:00
----------------------------------------------------------

Comment 9 Andreas K. Hüttel gentoo-dev 2010-10-01 22:11:46 UTC
No change in 4.5.1
Comment 10 Andreas K. Hüttel gentoo-dev 2011-03-05 19:07:12 UTC
No change with 4.6.1

As already mentioned in comment 8, the tests are fundamentally broken. There's nothing we can do here but hope for upstream.
