If you have the useflag 'dailup' set on knetworkmanager then it wants to pull kppp-3.5.9 explicitly, which then wants to pull kdelibs-3.5.9 which blocks kdelibs 4.2.0 =)
Simply patching it to user version 3.5.10 should already help. kppp also has a 4.2.0 release and I will check later if it works together with knetworkmanager.

I know it is a KDE3 application. The problem is not 3.5* but 3.5.9, which blocks anything KDE4.
kppp pulls explicitly 3.5.9
3.5.9 <-> 3.5.10
I did not check since I reported this bug because I switched over you wicd network manager.
