in the ebuild:
IUSE="expat gnome graphviz imagemagick jpeg nls openexr plib png python svg tiff truetype xml"

the svg use flag is not used and gnome-base/librsvg is hardcoded.

it should be:
svg? gnome-base/librsvg

please fix it

why would you think that?
the svg USE-flag is used for svg-icons in the user interface. I assume that librsvg is needed anyway, but I have to check that.

i wrote this for two reasons:
1) the ebuild never checks for svn flag, so should be modified.

2) i changed on my personal overlay and i have all the icons in the menus working flawlessy. i don't have librsvp installed at all.

my ebuild just has the svg ? change....this is why i didn't attach
