so many packages have bluez-libs as RDEPEND,but the newest bluez is not splitted into bluez-utils and bluez-libs. Though you can make these packages depends on bluez or bluez-libs,but there are so many ebuild to fix.So the easiest way is to split net-wireless/bluez. bugs related: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=256771 http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=255424 http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=250909 http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=236357 Reproducible: Always
I'm setting this as a blocker just to track stuff.
Makes no sense to split it. There is nothing that would be depending on the libs part only so it would be just extra work downstream. It's not that hard to fix the atoms when someone actually starts maintaining bluez and it only needs to be done once. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 250909 ***
