emergeing openjade-1.3.2 with DISTCC_HOSTS set and monitoring the progress using
distccmon shows that openjade is only compiled on localhost.

I changed the title since there are more ebuilds that does not use distcc.

So far I have found:
openjade
gle
libgtkhtml

Also some ebuilds that uses libtool fail to distribute the jobs.
For an example, emerge a2ps.

I'm going to close this and open a new metabug to hold a bunch of packages that don't use distcc (for whatever reason).  See bug 26149

I've also managed to show that of your list these:
app-text/openjade-1.3.2-r1
media-libs/gle-3.0.1-r2
x11-misc/xscreensaver-4.11
gnome-base/ORBit-0.5.17
app-arch/zip-2.3-r2

ignore distcc.
