In KDE-4 the cryptography plugin is not included in the main sources anymore, but is in extragear. This problem is similar to this KDE bug (http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=169656).
At the moment incoming encrypted messages are completely ignored, which should not happen.

What is the reason for closing this bug?

I just sync-ed, and still can't find extragear in portage.
