This can create issues like the one described in http://blog.flameeyes.eu/2008/12/24/library-on-a-collision-course-on-the-screen

maybe just drop this? As php4 dropped.

dev-php4* has not been in the tree anymore for many months, it's just available in the transition overlay.
This will not be fixed. Migrate to php-5* and file a new bug if there are similar problems.
