The mikmod website has been down for almost 2 weeks now. Its not like host unreachable. THe error is hostname not found, asif the project has ceased to exist or something. And I have a mikmod update out standing(mikmod-3.1.6a). Is there any mirror where we can download mikmod from? It would be nice if this is fixed in the ebuild. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.try updating mikmod with ~x86 on, 2. 3. Actual Results: failed to download mikmod source Expected Results: mikmod source should have been downloaded and installed the package. ACCEPT_KEYWORDXS=~x86
Have to find a new archive or remove from portage. I presume there are many other mikmod players.
I personally dont care about mikmod, Its a dependency for xmms and some other stuff so it was showing up in my emerge world -uDp and I couldnot make it go away. Later I asked on #xmms and Fatal was knid enough to somehow look up the ip address and then I patched the ebuild, changing the SRC_URI from the DNS url to ip address url and did the update so now my portage tree is happy.
Um, if you still have that information please forward it to me. We can host the files on gentoo machines.

The mikmod files for 3.1.6a are now being hosted by gentoo, they are slowly making it out to the mirrors. Thanks.
