I have epiphany 2.24 installed and get the same error. This is easily fixed in the configure.in with a one-line patch.

should beagle 0.38-r2 be marked stable for amd64 since gnome 2.24 became stable? beagle 0.36 (last stable version in portage) fails to build with epiphany-2.24
