problem is, that happens with every package could you paste #emerge -p system from the livecd
Ok, I understang that this happens with many ebuilds, but when I started this time from stage2, and @ `emerge -U system` the first to bail was grub. And I found that bug here ... Although adding "obvious" dependencies may be tedious (like gcc, autoconf, etc) it is worth it, I think. And I saw some perl during the ebuild :-) Kalin.
