Description Patrick Lauer gentoo-dev 2008-11-23 10:02:43 UTC
Hi guys,

app-benchmarks/bashmark has been quite neglected for some time. Now the homepage is gone, I haven't found any download location.

Please discuss killing this zombie package :)

Patrick, I thought you were the new app-benchmarks guy?

%% epkginfo app-benchmarks/bashmark
Package: app-benchmarks/bashmark
Herd: benchmarks
Maintainer: genstef@gentoo.org
Location: /usr/portage/app-benchmarks/bashmark
Keywords: bashmark-0.6.2: amd64 x86

23:41 <@darkside_> !herd benchmarks
23:42 <+Willikins> darkside_: (benchmarks) patrick

Anyway, you know better than us. We will say, if it compiles and works..leave it. However, not much good without an upstream I am afraid.

Works fine here. Removing treecleaner@g.o from bug because this does not fit the criteria of us removing the package. It seems silly that it compares your system with one from 2005, and my system was lower on some test!? /me sighs, heh. Your call, Patrick.

Ah, cancel that about my system being lower than the reference one. The app never triggered my cpu governor to increase.

This should be closed, no?
