webalizer will not resolve hostnames as stated in the docs, because doing this requires the user creating the cache file with wcmgr, which is included in the standard distribution of webalizer. However, gentoo's version omits wcmgr, and thus cache resolving will not work. Attempts at running webalizer with resolving turned on results in a runtime warning: Error: Unable to open DNS cache file dns_cache.db Looking at the source package gentoo uses, webalizer-2.01-10-src.tar.bz2, it does not contain the wcmgr program, wheras the latest at the original site does. Perhaps a version bump is needed?
