Description nietonfir 2008-11-12 21:52:20 UTC
Version 1.11.0 released on September 12 2008.

Summary:
Version 1.11.0 fixes a bug on 64-bit machines which caused windows to fail to be swallowed by the browser, a bug which caused gv not to be resized correctly in some cases and a bug with the controller and <embed> objects with the hidden="true" property. It adds a 3D look and feel to the controller, and handles better <embed> objects with autostart="false".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Just as an FYI for those who may not be familiar: until the maintainers add 1.12.0 to the portage tree, you can quite easily install the newer version by means of an overlay, since it is a nice and easy ebuild:

If you do not already have a personal overlay:

1) mkdir -p /usr/portage/local/overlay/net-www/mozplugger
2) add PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/portage/local/overlay" in make.conf. If you use layman, be sure to put this before the source ...layman/make.conf line
3) cp /usr/portage/net-www/mozplugger/mozplugger-1.10.2.ebuild /usr/portage/local/overlay/net-www/mozplugger/mozplugger-1.12.0.ebuild

If you do have a personal overlay, you probably already knew how to do this, but anyway, you simply have to do step 3, but obviously use the more appropriate destination path.

Cheers,

Sujeet Akula

Patrick,
Can this report get some attention? It is a quick version bump since the ebuild does not need to be modified and addresses a problem that allows X86_64 users to embed apps like KDE4's okular in Firefox. With the current version in the tree this is impossible.

Wanted to let you know:

By means of only changing the name of the ebuild,
www-plugins/mozplugger-1.10.2.ebuild to
www-plugins/mozplugger-1.12.1.ebuild in my overlay (and digest), I was able to install 1.12.1 from portage without any problems. Okular works now.
