Description Michael Evans 2008-11-10 19:03:34 UTC
mysql gui tools disables workbench without a use flag. mysql workbench is pretty much the only part of mysql gui tools I want to use at this time. I'd like to be able to model a nice graphical layout of a mysql database that is in a format which can be archived, shared, and understood by many; including PHB types who don't really understand the details but like to visualize the generals.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
install mysql-gui-tools via package manager
Actual Results:
it installs everything except java-modules (don't care ATM) and workbench

Expected Results:
Non-default but potentially desirable portions should be build-flags. (I do not know how to set this up, but I did check for build flags I may have missed before searching bug reports.)

mysql-gui-tools-5.0_p12-r2.ebuild is the only version of an ebuild for gui-tools or workbench on my system.

I've tried enabling it by messing with the .build file, however there appears to be a somewhat trivial prototype error (The actual function is fine, they just explicitly named the variables in the prototype, named them differently, had duplicate names).

Yet my original assessment proves to be incorrect:

1) We're behind two revisions, they're at r14 not r12.
2) The new revision drops workbench; it is now separate.
