Comment 2 Markus Meier gentoo-dev 2008-11-05 21:24:34 UTC

Can we stable such a version? Olivier, or is backporting the GCC 4.3 fix alone possible?
Comment 4 Olivier Crete (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-11-06 19:48:35 UTC
Actually, maybe we should p.mask it... upstream has stopped developping it

I dont really see any reason to mask it, it works fine. I'd be okay with moving it to unstable.
Comment 6 Olivier Crete (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-11-06 19:56:12 UTC
Or disable the ffmpeg dep (we keep on having to update it every few months..
Comment 7 Jeremy Olexa (darkside) (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2008-11-08 01:50:14 UTC
So, what do you want us to do then?

Yeah, that's true. But it fails even with "stable" media-video/mpeg4ip-1.5.0.1-r1.
