Hi, 
The latest available ebuild is qt-embedded-3.0.5, and the latest available sources is 
version 3.1.2. This fix is trivial: just copy the ebuild with no change, and it works: 
cd /usr/portage/x11-libs/qt-embedded 
cp qt-embedded-3.0.5.ebuild qt-embedded-3.1.2.ebuild
