Description Knoedel 2008-10-23 12:11:58 UTC
I'm on Kernel 2.6.27 and using bridge-utils to get my KVM-VM's working in same subnet. The first onboard card is running fine with br0 (included eth0).

After i have installed 2 x Intel 1000 GT Desktop Adapter, i get this errors in my syslog:

Oct 23 13:46:35 localhost br1: Dropping NETIF_F_UFO since no NETIF_F_HW_CSUM feature.
Oct 23 13:46:35 localhost br1: Dropping NETIF_F_UFO since no NETIF_F_HW_CSUM feature.
Oct 23 13:46:35 localhost device eth1 entered promiscuous mode
Oct 23 13:46:40 localhost device eth1 left promiscuous mode
Oct 23 13:46:40 localhost br1: port 1(eth1) entering disabled state
Oct 23 13:46:41 localhost rc-scripts: We only hotplug for ethernet interfaces

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. brctl addbr br1
2. brctl addif br1 eth1
3. brctl show (already disappeared)

Actual Results:
no new bridge on the Intel 1000 GT Cards.

Expected Results:
br1

Could you add the output of "emerge --info"?

disable etables support in kernel and wait for better support.

Is this still a problem?
