Description Mark Nowiasz 2008-10-22 17:58:01 UTC
Even after using the solution described in Bug 242634, I'm unable to connect to some(!) websites, e.G. http://www.wdr.de/ or http://accountservices.msn.com/.

In the case of http://www.wdr.de/ the first connect succeedes, but the redirect
fails (the connection just hangs):
----------------------------------------------------------------------
$ lynx --dump --head http://www.wdr.de/
HTTP/1.1 302 Found
Date: Wed, 22 Oct 2008 17:52:59 GMT
Server: Apache
Location: http://www.wdr.de/themen/homepages/homepage.jhtml
Connection: close
Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Switch back to 2.6.26-r2 solves these problems. Furthermore, this isn't browser related - I tried to telnet directly to the affected servers and manually submitted a GET request.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to open an affected webpage
2. Wait for ever
3.

This is basically the same problem as bug 242634, but you probably need to disable timestamps option as well. Please see the kernel url posted under bug 242634, and give any additional feedback as part of that discussion.
