Hi, I was bumping the totem ebuild to 0.99.2 and found it it doesn't compile. Upstream will fix this "probably this week-end", so I'd rather wait for 0.99.2.fixed instead of patching the source. Additionally, I put together a longdescription from the project homepage.

Uhm, sorry for the attachment spam, but I got some real strange bugzilla error messages.
thanks for long description and the patch. if it needs Xrand then it probably should depend on >=x11-base/xfree-4.3. but as you say, we might as well wait till the fix it officially.
It works fine, i have it here. It is not as good as .1 though. Saying that the 'gstreamer backend is experimental' doesn't belong in a description, those are shortterm descriptions. In the end we will probably default to using gstreamer as backend even when it's slightly worse. Where is the bug describing the xrandr thing btw, seems very odd to me the properties tab would need xrandr .
ok, this is in with a gtk+-2.2.2 dep that in its turn deps on xfree-4.3 . That should cover the xrandr things and another problem from another bug in a galaxy far far away etc. I updated the longdescription, though i skipped the references to backends for the reasons mentioned. Thanks for your contribution.
