Description Daniel Koszta 2008-10-13 18:50:24 UTC
Whenever I do an "emerge -p --resum --color n" I get color it the output.

(This is annoying, because it would be great to be able to pipe its output to genlop to estimate remaining time)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a running or interrupted emerge
2. run 'emerge -p --resume --color n'

Actual Results:
Got a colored output

Expected Results:
Get a non-colored output

$ emerge --info

Comment 1 Andrew Gaffney (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-10-13 19:00:01 UTC
I tried this with 2.2_rc12 with both 'emerge -p --resume --color n' and 'emerge -p --resume --color=n' and got output without color.
Comment 2 Daniel Koszta 2009-01-03 09:42:20 UTC
Now, after a long time, I think I have found something.

This ONLY happens, if the merge which I am trying to resume was called with --color y.
Can someone please try this on another machine?
Comment 3 Zac Medico gentoo-dev 2009-01-11 23:32:41 UTC
Thanks, this is fixed in svn r12428.
Comment 4 Zac Medico gentoo-dev 2009-01-12 20:07:51 UTC
This is fixed in 2.1.6.5 and 2.2_rc21.
