Description Tomas Caithaml 2008-10-12 17:26:04 UTC
Hi,

hmake 3.14 has been released. Could you add it to Portage? The ebuilds for older versions force downgrade of ghc from 6.8 to 6.6.

New version is now in the haskell-overlay. Please test and report any issue... :-)

Are you sure? I don't see it. Are you referring to the overlay located
at http://code.haskell.org/gentoo/gentoo-haskell?

3.14 ebuild

My bad, it is not still in the overlay, but I hope it will be soon...

Anyway you can use the attached ebuild...

I used the attached ebuild and ended up with error - ghc is complaining that does not know -Wl,--sort-common flag. My guess is that the second line in src_unpack is not so bulletproof as it should be.

I know LDFLAGS are not officially supported but still ...

Once I removed LDFLAGS from /etc/make.conf, everything went fine.
