Please update app-arch/rar to the latest version, 3.8.0. The final version was released on Sep. 30. Thanks. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Does "Default Assignee for Orphaned Packages <maintainer-needed@gentoo.org>" mean that this package has no maintainer? Is there any reason the maintainer of this package should be different from the maintainer of the app-arch/unrar package, which does appear to get regular updates? The update to rar-3.8.0 is literally just a version bump. No ebuild changes are necessary.
Although besides a version bump it would be nice if it installed the 64bit version on amd64 instead of requiring emul-libs...
Created attachment 170335 [details] ebuild for rar-3.8.0 Well, this worked for me, not 100% certain about the dependencies though, as I already had the stuff the previous version required... (rarlabs now provides a native x64 build, so emul-libs, etc shouldn't be needed anymore)
