This is a known error - mask libopensync-9999.
Wouldn't it be best to exclude 9999 as a dependency then?
You can see in the package.mask file the following snippet: # Piotr Jaroszyński <peper@gentoo.org> (26 Nov 2007) # opensync svn ebuilds =app-pda/libopensync-9999 If emerge fails when you use hard masked packages (live ebuilds in particular), it's up to you to pick the pieces! Be sure to try with a non-masked package before reporting compilation issues with testing or stable packages in the tree.
