Had that problem and unmerged xephem to merge kstars. Funnily xephem merged without problems afterwards on my system. Did not perform deep tests if everything works (don't have an INDI telescope anyways).

Hi ! I have an similar bug. Kstars wont install after successfully emerge due indilib conflicts :

I temporary fix it unmergeing indilib then adding indilib in package.keywords with ~x86 . In this way Kstars don't include in dependencies the indilib package.

Not an issue in 4.2. Thus fixed.
