I've written an ebuild for exchange4linux, a MS-Exchange-Replacement for Linux. I've experienced problems with omniORB and omniORBpy from portage, after updating them to actual versions, those problems are gone. New ebuilds for omniORB and omniORBpy can be found in the above cvs, for both there wasn't more action needed than renaming them.
