dev-perl/DB_File-1.803-r2 does not work with db4, while it specifies that it can
handle db4. It compiles correctly, but expects db-3.2

Is this obsolete? dev-lang/perl-5.8.0-r11 and later note that the DB_File from CPAN works fine with DB4.

This bug is not obsolete, this library actually compiles and links db-3.2 if it is installed. If db-3.2 is not there it gives the following error:
Note (probably harmless): No library found for -ldb-3.2

Fixing the dependencies would allready be enough to fix this.
