Description Michael Croes 2008-08-13 07:14:09 UTC
The ebuild for sys-kernel/vanilla-sources-2.6.27_rc2 misses keywords for amd64. currently it's keyworded ~x86 and I think it should also have ~amd64.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the ebuild
2.
3.

We've decided to wait on keywording 2.6.27 at least until 2.6.27 final. The reason is that nvidia-drivers breaks with 2.6.27 series at the moment. You are, of course, free to use vanilla-sources 2.6.27_rc2 if you don't use nvidia-drivers.

I'm sorry if I'm misunderstanding things, but I thought that in a situation like this it should have a keyword like -amd64... More so I think the issue lies at the nvidia drivers, why not properly keyword the nvidia drivers and the kernel? You say I'm free to use the vanilla-sources if I don't use nvidia, but it's not really possible this way because it totally misses the keyword for amd64 profile...

New versions are keyworded accordingly, no need to keep this open...
