I tried to install KDE (split ebuild, minimal - startkde). Everything went well until aRts configuration. I got configure error: "Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0) (headers and libraries) not found" Problem was solved after I did: env-update && source /etc/profile Maybe this step should be part of ebuild?
