There is a new version of transmission out (1.31).  Only changes required on my system were to the version number.

Reproducible: Always

The transmission-daemon init script needs to be rewritten, because the daemon has been rewritten and isn't supporting the pid flag anymore.

It builds and runs fine on ~amd64. However the notification area icon no longer appears in Gnome.
