Description Nikos Chantziaras 2008-07-31 15:30:36 UTC
After updating to x11-libs/qt-3.3.8b, a "make xconfig" (gentoo-sources-2.6.25-r7) does not work anymore:

---cut here---
realnc@gentoo /usr/src/linux $ sudo make xconfig
Package qt-mt was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `qt-mt.pc'

[...ad infinitum...]
---cut here---

I'm marking this as "minor" since there are easy workarounds ("make menuconfig" and "make gconfig").

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge x11-libs/qt-3.3.8b
2. cd /usr/src/linux
3. make xconfig

Actual Results:
Compilation error.

Expected Results:
Successful compile of the Qt-based kernel configuration app.

Please mark as invalid. It was a mistake on my part (I was using "sudo make xconfig"). sudo isn't even supposed to work with xconfig I think. Sorry.
