Description Joe Peterson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-07-21 14:14:05 UTC
Useflag "arts" is no longer in the 2008.0 profile(s), but kolf will no longer compile if kdelibs is not compiled with arts, so emerging kdegames-meta fails:

 * The package kde-base/kolf-3.5.9 you're trying to merge requires aRTs.
 * However, kde-base/kdelibs-3.5.9-r4 was compiled with the arts USE flag disabled.
 *
 * To build this package you have to recompile
 * kde-base/kdelibs-3.5.9-r4 with the arts USE flag enabled.
 *
 * ERROR: kde-base/kolf-3.5.9 failed.
 * Call stack:
 *               ebuild.sh, line   49:  Called pkg_setup
 *               ebuild.sh, line 1244:  Called kde_pkg_setup
 *              kde.eclass, line   95:  Called die
 * The specific snippet of code:
 *                              die "kdelibs missing arts"
 *  The die message:
 *   kdelibs missing arts
 *
 * If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call stack if relevant.
 * A complete build log is located at '/var/tmp/portage/kde-base/kolf-3.5.9/temp/build.log'.
 * The ebuild environment file is located at '/var/tmp/portage/kde-base/kolf-3.5.9/temp/die.env'.

Nevermind: kdegames-meta already only installs if USE="arts" is set.
