The description should be:

An existing symlink shared between more than packages can be overwritten by a file with the same name.

See difference between net-libs/nss_ldap/nss_ldap-207.ebuild and net-libs/nss_ldap/nss_ldap-207-r1.ebuild

No martin, that doesnt matter.

The bug is exactly as I have already stated:

incoming symlink overwrites file

fixed in recent portages.
