The GNOME Inbox Monitor does not support GSSAPI. It would great if it would use my Kerberos creds to login to my IMAP server (Evolution can do it!). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Requires that you use GSSAPI Actual Results: Have to login using username and password Expected Results: Should be able to use single-sign-on through Kerberos creds Portage 2.0.48-r1 (default-x86-1.4, gcc-3.2.3, glibc-2.3.2-r1) ================================================================= System uname: 2.4.20-gentoo-r5 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1600+ GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://www.mirror.ac.uk/sites/www.ibiblio.org/gentoo http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo http://gentoo.oregonstate.edu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /var/qmail/control /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/env.d" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage-overlay" USE="x86 oss 3dnow avi crypt cups encode gif jpeg libg++ libwww mikmod mmx motif mpeg ncurses nls pdflib png quicktime spell truetype xml2 xmms xv zlib alsa gdbm berkdb slang readline aalib svga java guile X sdl gpm tcpd pam ssl perl python esd imlib oggvorbis gnome gtk opengl mozilla ldap cdr acpi dvd ethereal evo flash gd gtk2 gtkhtml ipv6 kerberos lirc samba sse usb vim-with-x xinerama -apm -arts -qt -kde" COMPILER="gcc3" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-mcpu=athlon-xp -O3 -pipe" CXXFLAGS="-mcpu=athlon-xp -O3 -pipe" ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86 ~x86" MAKEOPTS="-j2" AUTOCLEAN="yes" SYNC="rsync://rsync.europe.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" FEATURES="sandbox ccache"
feature request for gnome packages shouldn't be posted here really. I don't think the mailcheck applet is terribly well maintained atm, so i wouldn't get my hopes up.
Feature requests should go to the maintainer(s) directly. There is not much Gentoo can do about this.
