After looking at bug 225375, I think there's a good chance that 'append-flags -D_GNU_SOURCE' in the ebuild should fix it.
That worked for me
Adding: inherit flag-o-matic and then for the src_compile() part: append-flags -D_GNU_SOURCE to the ebuild works for me too. I don'know if it's the right way to fix it tough.
