Description cucu ionut 2008-06-03 05:52:15 UTC
buildind qca(1.0-r3) and qca-tls(1.0-r4) will fail with There was an error compiling 'conf'. Be sure you have a proper
Qt 3.x Multithreaded (MT) build environment set up unless one manually exports QMAKESPEC=linux-g++ before building it

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Comment 1 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-03 07:26:29 UTC
Please provide a build log and emerge --info.
Comment 2 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-03 14:51:44 UTC
Also, reopen this bug once you have provided both.

emerge --info isn't really helpful if you don't use sys-apps/portage but paludis. You didn't provide a build log either.
Comment 5 Kristian Niemi 2008-06-04 07:40:28 UTC
This seems like a similar paludis-problem that I encountered (bug 222803) (although with a different env setting).

Insert the following into /etc/paludis/bashrc and it will compile just fine:
export QMAKESPEC="linux-g++"
Comment 6 Churikov Daniil 2008-06-17 11:00:45 UTC
hey, i have the same problebe coz of i migrate from CHOST=i486 to CHOST=i686
try to look at
/usr/qt/3/mkspecs/linux-g++/qmake.conf
and make it proper
Comment 7 cucu ionut 2008-07-22 09:13:12 UTC
apparently it was just a screwed up sudo setting...sorry for the noise
Comment 8 Semi Malinen 2008-11-14 11:52:41 UTC
This worked for me as well: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=222803#c8
