Description Robert Piasek (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-05-27 11:14:59 UTC
OpenChange aims to provide a portable Open Source implementation of Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange protocols. Exchange is a groupware server designed to work with Microsoft Outlook, and providing features such as a messaging server, shared calendars, contact databases, public folders, notes and tasks.

Reproducible: Always

Being forced to use Exchange at work, I'd love to see this too.

This appears to depend on samba 4, so my guess is it's going to take a while to get going...

it does work ok with samba4 alpha7 here. What's the problem with adding samba4 and libmapi? Other distros ship it for over a year now.

Could you provide an ebuild fpr samba4 and libmapi? I am willing to test this because my employer switched to exchange 2007 and I am now cut-off most functionality in evolution concerning my exchange mail account

Dustin

Samba4_alpha11 just landed in portage tree. Expect libmapi soon.

Hard masked in the tree now. Please test it and reports any bugs.

Is it possible to have samba 3 and 4 installed at the same time in multiple slots?
