Earlier reported here: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22049

While attempting to emerge gnome, I get the following error:

"!!! File is corrupt or incomplete. (Digests do not match)
>>> our recorded digest: 4c7920d4b9d2ff1213faff4d718946d6
>>> your file's digest: 9adc1e58e43211137ed8cc27702deed4
!!! File does not exist: /usr/portage/distfiles//XFree86-compose.dir.bz2"

Multiple attempts using the "emerge rsync" command using various mirrors
(aachen, oregonstate, ad nauseum) end in the same error after a rsync.

I can not complete this install until this problem is fixed.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge rsync
2. emerge gnome
3. emerge rsync
4. emerge gnome
5. goto 1.

Actual Results:
Please see Details.

Expected Results:
md5 should have matched and gnome install continued.
