Sorry was looking at a different bug, I think I'll take a break now ^^;;
Created attachment 150512 [details, diff] inkscape-0.45.1-r1-gassert.patch This is due to changes in glib. The attached patch is supposed to solve this, but I haven't compile-tested it, though I know it applies against our tarball.
(In reply to comment #2) > Created an attachment (id=150512) [edit] > inkscape-0.45.1-r1-gassert.patch > And, btw. It's fixes in 0.46, but that's not stable, of course.
yes, it is fixed in 0.46, that's why I'm not going to patch 0.45. already reported in bug #203002. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 203002 ***
fixing a bug in a pkg marked as stable by installing a package marked as unstable? nice practics ;)
(In reply to comment #5) > fixing a bug in a pkg marked as stable by installing a package marked as > unstable? > nice practics ;) > Actually, this bug is caused by unstable glib-2.16* being installed on your system. As I understand it, the plan is to avoid this bug in the all-stable branch is to stable inkscape when glib is stabled.
no problem, I was just joking. The problem is, once you're into unstable software, it's hard to go back to stable ;)
(In reply to comment #7) > no problem, I was just joking. > The problem is, once you're into unstable software, it's hard to go back to > stable ;) Then either go ~arch or stable. You'll see lots more like this if not.
