I've added 132.207.4.160 to the access list for rsync1.us.gentoo.org. Please update your rsync cron jobs to point to rsync1.us.gentoo.org and post back here when you've done so. We'll monitor the server for a couple days to make sure things are working fine and then add it to the rotation. I'd like to verify a few details. If the server is running ntp, the upstream connection, max users and system hardware. Thanks.
We have updated our rsync cron jobs to point to rsync1.us.gentoo.org. Running ntp: yes. The upstream connection: We have a 1Go uplink to the RISQ, and then to CaNet4 Networks. (If this is important information, I'll find out more about our network map: http://205.189.33.72/stats/CAnet4map/CAnet4mapl3.htm). Max users: 5 (will be increased in a few days if all operates well) System hardware: AMD Duron(tm) processor 999.536Mhz with 1Go RAM and 160Go HDDs.
