Description Mark Loeser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-04-05 22:56:18 UTC
As carlo said in the other bug, the maintainer tag is supposed to be an individual. If you want to have media-tv and vdr as the herds for the package, then list multiple herds in the metadata.xml. You can see an example of this in dev-db/phpmyadmin. Currently there is no way to represent a herd as a sub-herd. This might be an interesting thing to pursue, but we would have to figure out exactly what that means, and how do bugs get assigned, and how would this be different than listing multiple herds for a package.

Thanks

"New Ebuilds" doesn't seem like the correct component for this bug?

https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:VDR does exist now.
