Description Kai Krakow 2008-04-02 07:36:53 UTC
I am using a dual-head setup (via nvidia dynamic twinview). Everytime I start OpenOffice, the window spans both screens, not just one. Clicking "maximize" brings it back to just one screen but it is a bit annoying because OpenOffice doesn't even save it's last used size.

Maybe this is of importance: I am using compiz-fusion.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Setup dual head in Xorg (e.g. nvidia dynamic twinview with 2 monitors)
2. Run OpenOffice (compiled from source in my case, not the *-bin version)

Actual Results:
OpenOffice spans both screens after startup.

Expected Results:
OpenOffice spans just one screen or maximizes to one screen automatically after startup. I would even expect OpenOffice to remember its last used screen size.

Looks like compiz-0.7.2 (was 0.6.x before) fixed this problem. Just the OpenOffice splash screen is still centered across both screens. OpenOffice now even sets its windows to maximized state upon app startup.

So... Not an OOo bug an already fixed. Fine;)
